Tomorrow marks 25 years since the Columbine Massacre in Littleton, Colorado.
@RockyMountViews Same dad my step brother killed himself. We were talking about it today. Heartbreaking 💔
@RockyMountViews 😢 I remember it well. I was at work on my computer when the news hit. I don’t think I got much done that day. 🙏
@RockyMountViews I don't remember which airport, but I was on my way home from a business trip and watched the news reports between planes. Watching those kids come out, hands up was heartbreaking. High School. Enough.
@RockyMountViews And not one thing has been changed to prevent it happening again. In most states the laws have become more permissive instead of less. An example is the proliferation of the open carry stuff. My former state is an example of that one.
@RockyMountViews Hard to believe we’re actually worse off in terms of proliferation of weapons in our society. What’s it going to take to make America great again in terms of having civil society return, with guns in civilian hands, in every day life, recognized as risk not worth taking?
@RockyMountViews Cripes. I was a youth worker/leader at the time and had group at my house that night. It was kind of intense.
@RockyMountViews I can’t stop thinking about that horrific day. My heart is with you and your family ❤️
@RockyMountViews Sending to all of Colorado
