Located in Preah Vihear Province in northern Cambodia, the temple was constructed within the Dangrek mountain range and is dedicated to the mountain gods “Shikhareshvara and Bhadresvara.” It was erected by Prince Indrayadha, the son of King Jayavarman II, who brought Shivasingh and Sri Shikhareshvara from Linga Borei (Wat Phou) to be enshrined on Preah Vihear Mountain. The temple was built by eight Khmer ancestors, all of whom were former kings. “Safeguarding our cultural heritage is a shared duty of all Cambodians.” #ហ៊ុនម៉ាណែត #Hunmanet #កម្ពុជា #cambodia #សន្តិភាពនៅកម្ពុជា #Peaceincambodia
