It's not just that you must liberate yourself and no one else can for you. It's that you GET to liberate yourself and that is empowering. You already have the power of liberation within. First be a Bodhisattva unto yourself. Free all your sub-minds. The rest will follow.
First, I tried to change reality. Second, I tried to simply understand reality. Third, I stopped trying to do either. And then life revealed itself to itself as itself.

In my experience, people trying to wake each other up directly, whatever that means, and no matter how spiritually wise they feel in that moment, tend to be doing it in part out of discomfort with being with the "asleep" person. I've been on both sides of this countless times.
I don’t think anyone has to help anyone else “wake up” faster. That train gathered steam a long time ago. Also … isn’t it obvious that people have to come to it of their own volition? You can’t actually be successful in speeding up this process for others.

@RogerThisdell This is amazing! I was sensing this but not aware what it was. It actually works with hearing too! You get somatic reactions to sounds too. Also I'm not sure why but doing this with a river in front of me worked very well! It was the most nondual experience I got till now.

@RogerThisdell Lovely! Reminded me of Frank Yang when he was manically tellingthe camera about how his vipassana scanning was scanning his entire reality. Well it helped me make sense of what he was saying haha.
