A video shared on Facebook shows the destruction of Kyauknimaw village in Ramree, Arakan, following an airstrike conducted by the #Myanmar junta on Jan 8th. 41 lives were lost, and 52 were injured - mostly #Rohingya. Nearly 600 homes were destroyed.
Airstrike conducted by #Myanmar junta over Kyauknimaw village in Ramree, Arakan, on Jan 8th, clearly demonstrates the junta's deliberate targeting of the #Rohingya. Among the casualties, 41 fatalities & 52 injuries, majority is Rohingya, and destruction of nearly 600 houses.
Arakan Army (AA) ordered the #Rohingya in Guna hamlet of Ngan Chaung village in Northern Maungdaw Township of Arakan to leave their hamlet by January 15, 2025.
