Until India develops, based on the talents of our own people, we will not find true respect in the world, no matter whether right, left or center is in charge anywhere. The racist shows us a mirror and asks: "if your nation is smart, why do you want to come here". I do not hate him, I want to respond by building. Some Indians agree with the racist and think India will never develop. I do not hate them either, I want to respond by building. Companies and nations are built by people who believe it can be done. The urgent national priority is to build, build and build.

Seeing a lot of growing raw hatred against India, Indians, Hindus, Indian-Americans, etc. for no reason. Would be happy to have anyone who feels that hatred quietly unfollow me. Simple. Clean. Thanks in advance.

Time and again, I hv raised this issue. Another unprovoked assault on a Lady Dr. Assaults on doctors- Govt or in the Pvt Sector is an epidemic in India. Doesn't even happen in Pakistan, B'desh ,Nepal or SL. The Govt of India must evolve a strategy to prevent attacks on Drs.

When the headlines begin to compare FD returns to stock market returns, it is time for this piece! So, I speak to investors across all kinds of markets. In the middle of a bull run, they think diversification into debt is for losers. In the middle of a down market, they think my desire for holding domestic equity is just bad advice. The reality is that you need to hold all the assets all the time - just the slice size of the pie will differ according to your age and future need of money. Driving on the wrong side of the road might be the norm in Delhi, but following basic road rules in investing will give you a steady and predictable ride, keeping you ahead of both inflation and taxes at a portfolio level. Both have contributed immensely to Tamil cinema. one elevated the audience’s taste, the other one expanded its reach.

One of the biggest reasons Tamil cinema normalised mediocrity as a culture is Rajinikanth. At his peak, Kamal Haasan fought to push Tamil cinema towards better storytelling, technical excellence and artistic ambition. He invested his own money, suffered losses repeatedly and

Islamists like Sharjeel want a weak Centre only in non-Muslim majority countries. Where they are the majority, they support centralisation. Most Muslim-majority states are highly centralised and enforce far greater uniformity.

@praveenswami Always finding excuses - framing cause and effect ,instead of ideological grounding of terrorists. Do not worry Indian state alone may not be able to defeat Islamists fully but with the guidance and dedication of Hindutvadis, it shall. Nullifying Article 370 is a good examples

@praveenswami Why don't you honestly present what Dr. Ambedkar said in Pakistan or Partition of India. Also doing nothing is what led to partition. If Gopal Pathas and Sarder Patel had done nothing , entire WB and Hyderabad would not be here.

The public is so frustrated and furious that these electricity department employees risk getting beaten with shoes wherever they show up. Because of these ignorant assholes, even small children are suffering so much, with no electricity and no water. They have taken us straight back to the 1980s. Every single one of them should be held accountable, and criminal cases should be filed against those responsible under the Essential Services Maintenance Act (ESMA).

Rajinikanth didn’t normalise mediocrity in Tamil cinema. He mastered a different art: connecting with millions. Kamal pushed boundaries through experimentation; Rajini redefined mass stardom. Both shaped Tamil cinema in different ways. Rajini’s filmography includes classics beyond formulaic entertainers. Blaming him for today’s weak scripts is lazy criticism. An actor isn’t responsible for an entire industry’s creative failures. You can celebrate Kamal’s ambition without diminishing Rajini’s legacy. Tamil cinema is big enough for both.

When we lived in West Bengal the power situation was horrible. There would be days also without power. Parallel distribution was done by area dadas using gensets. Once distribution became privatised there has never been power cut.

@sairam_ramani movies are copies from Hollywood . Doubtfire - Avai Shanmugi , God Father - Nayagan. The more I watch Hollywood movies, the more I see the copy here. Also it did not help that Kamal had a complicated family life and selective atheism - except for Vishwaroopam (2/2)

@sairam_ramani Rajni films were far more relatable, grounded and entertaining with good messages of family values , for all his brilliance I doubt even Kamal fans understand many of his movies - it is confusing. He had occasional brilliance, touched on difficult topics but also lot of his(1/2)

Look at the areas where babus and politicians live and compare them with the areas where the common man lives. See the difference: no potholes, no dust along the sides of the roads, no encroachments, and no open drains overflowing.
