Everyone said the first 15 games after the All-Star game would determine the fate of the Reds season. I said they would go 8-7. They are 8-6 with 1 game to go. They made 3 average trades. They are stuck in mediocrity. They will win 85 or 86 games this year and miss playoffs. Ugh!

It is hard to watch the NBA and take it serious when you call a flagrant foul because someone lands on a foot and twist their ankle when shooting a jump shot. Foul Yes. Flagrant no!

The refs choose to not blow the whistle and let the players decide the game. Now neither team can score because they are beating the hell out of each other.

Basketball question. I know analytics say don’t take mid range jumpers. However, if you set a ball screen with post player and the defender is standing at the rim. Why not just pull up and shoot 12 to 15 ft jumpers?

Serious question. I am watching ABC news election coverage. Why do they keep saying blue states will have late votes coming in? Why can’t they be efficient like other states? Also, one correspondent said blue voters vote late? Why?
