Agent toolchain for Robinhood Chain. Plugin for Codex, Claude Code, Cursor. 12 tools, 8 lint rules, signed simulation receipts.

What $ROOD actually does:
- pays for hosted compute: archive reads, fork simulations, traces, receipt publication
- bonds the registry: publishing a template or lint rule locks stake, broken code gets disputed, loser burns
- reserves publisher handles: pull stake, lose handle. Squatting costs money
- opens priority lanes: dedicated fork pool, parallel simulations
- funds coverage grants: new rules, undocumented precompiles, adapters. Stakers approve, treasury pays
What it doesn't do: gate the core. Lint, scaffolds, conventions run local and free forever. --local cuts cloud out entirely.
Token pays for infrastructure and keeps the registry honest. Nothing here promises return.
Four asks, one session:
what chain am I on → 4663, not the 42161 your model guessed
review this vault → 13 errors, each with a fix
simulate this transfer → revert. NYSE halted the stock
sign receipt, run gate → deploy blocked
Generic forks pass all four. Watch why that's the problem.

Agent asks, chain answers.
MCP server inside Roodex exposes 12 tools over stdio or HTTP.
Any client speaking the protocol gets them:
Codex, Claude Code, Cursor.
Memory of other chains stops being the data source.
Proof pull, then the invoice.
rhc_simulate runs your bundle on a fork at a block you choose. Out comes state diff, gas, call trace.
rhc_gas splits cost properly: L2 execution on one side, Ethereum blob data on the other. Budget counted on L2 alone reads low and lands wrong.
Cache keys on chain ID, block, calldata and state overrides, so a repeated pull never recomputes.
Public endpoint gives you execution reverted and nothing else. Agent then guesses, and guessing burns your context window.
rhc_contract pulls verified ABI and source by address, decodes calldata into named arguments.
rhc_revert decodes failure: custom errors, nested calls, exact frame where it died.
Both read archive state, which the public endpoint does not serve.
Two tools answer questions your agent currently guesses at.
rhc_network returns live parameters: chain ID 4663, sequencer status, finality lag around 13 minutes after batch posts to Ethereum.
rhc_docs searches versioned documentation for Robinhood Chain, Nitro and precompiles. Vector plus BM25, so exact precompile names still hit.
Meet Roodex.
Agent toolchain for building on Robinhood Chain. Plugin for Codex, Claude Code, Cursor.
What ships:
12 callable tools reading live chain
8 lint rules for Nitro and stock tokens
signed simulation receipts, anchored on chain
roodex init, writing chain conventions into your repo
Core sits under MIT. Free tier needs no wallet and no card.
Your agent stops answering from memory.
