I would recommend Black Rabbit, which hits Netflix on Thurs. It's a bit predictable and it prob could have been a couple of eps shorter, but Law and Bateman are on top form and it does hook you in. I also appreciated that it has an actual ending.

The Long Walk absolutely wrecked me. Even knowing the premise going in, I didn't expect it to hit on such an emotional level. It's definitely a bleak watch, but I also found it uplifting on some level (as strange as that seems). David Jonsson is fantastic.

Nobody 2 is a fun enough diversion for about 30 mins, but it's basically a less exciting, less funny, less engaging retread of the first movie. I wasn't expecting a major formula shakeup or anything, but it's a lazy effort overall.

Frankenstein reactions do have me a bit concerned, as I find a lot of GDT's movies lacking (Pan's Labyrinth - stunning; The Shape of Water - decent but massively overhyped film about a woman who fucks a fish monster, which is just so much weirder than people make out) in general.

#RedSonja is... kind of decent? Just be aware of its budgetary limitations going in and you might find yourself enjoying the B movie sword and sorcerey silliness. Matilda Lutz, Robert Sheehan and Wallis Day all give committed performances, and there's some impressive action.

Alien: Earth has been fantastic so far. Not at all what I was expecting (it's closer to Blade Runner thematically), but Hawley has given the franchise a much-needed kick in the ass. It doesn't hurt that every ep has ended with an absolute banger of a metal tune #AlienEarth
