A UK family where both parents work full-time, pay full council tax, and earn enough to be 'doing alright' on paper, can't afford to take their kids to the Tower of London on a Saturday in 2026. Two adult tickets and two child tickets at standard price comes to roughly £100. Add £40-£80 in train fares and £50-£70 for lunch — that's around £200 for a single Saturday at one tourist attraction in their own capital city. A family on full Universal Credit, living in subsidised housing, paying no council tax, can take the same four people to the same Tower for £1 a ticket — £4 total — under the 'inclusive access' schemes most major UK attractions now run. The working family pays the full £200 day out AND covers — through their taxes — the £196 discount the benefits family gets on the same trip. Whatever the original intention of those schemes, this is the structure most UK working families are now living inside. Pay the full bill, then watch the people next door enjoy the day out you can't take your own kids to.

I’ve just watched a whole BBC documentary about the rapid increase in cancer among the young.. It explored food & lifestyle choices, even body sprays & plastics. Not once tho, did they explore whether getting young healthy people vaccinated over & over with a product that had no long term health data, may have played a role🤔

I haven't been this angry in a very, very, very long time. I arrived in this country legally. Like any human being arriving in Britain, I was asked questions at the airport about who I was and what I was doing in Britain. I answered all questions. I provided my passport and legal documents. I worked harder than most. I believe in Britain and fight for its future. My work has led to the deportation of terrorists and terrorism supporters. I paid more tax than the overwhelming majority in this country. Yet, successive British governments have pretty much said "fuck off, you cunt" to people like me. When I arrived, I was on my own. No police escorts. No medical checks. No free accommodation. And that's how it should be. Yet, if you are an invader who could potentially commit horrible crimes in this country, and you may have done so wherever you came from, the state receives you as if you're a senior diplomat on an official visit. Fuck this injustice.

We called an ambulance last monday at 4pm, after my 81 year old father-in- law fell and couldn't move. He soiled himself and lay in his own mess overnight for 16 HOURS as the ambulance came at 8.20am, yet we have ambulances available for these spongers.

Jimmy Dunne💚 Before you pile on Jimmy Dunne today, know who you're talking about. Back in 2019, as a 21-year-old U21 international, the Dundalk native was linked with an approach from Northern Ireland. He shut it down straight away. He wanted to play for the Republic, and he waited years for his chance. He earned it the hard way. Loans at Barrow, Accrington, Hearts, Sunderland and Fleetwood before making his name at QPR. In 2024-25 he swept the club's awards: Supporters' Player of the Year, Players' Player of the Year AND the Junior Hoops Player of the Year, voted for by the club's young fans. Off the pitch, when 14-year-old Daniel Greer from Newry, a close family friend, was diagnosed with leukaemia and needed a bone marrow donor, Jimmy got DKMS to send testing kits to QPR, rallied his teammates and got the club to host a swab drive at Loftus Road. A donor was found weeks later🙏 And if you want to know what the green jersey means to him, look at him wrapped in his mam Sharon's arms after that heartbreaking night in Prague💔 Today he's been listed as Ireland's third-choice goalkeeper. Not because he asked to be. UEFA rules say every matchday squad needs three registered keepers, and he was the one asked to fill the spot. He didn't make a fuss. He just did what the team needed. The abuse he's getting for that is a disgrace. Whatever your view on this game, it shouldn't land on a player who has only ever given everything for this country. The ultimate professional💚
