[ They know there is no point in drawing her weapon, no point in fighting. She can only listen as this Woman rips into her thoughts and lays them bare before her. It makes her head ache. There is no rationality. Only Life rotting her. ]

I have your attention for a moment and tomorrow I expect it will be as if I didn't exist. What's the fucking p-point? Do you wish me to rot sooner? I've /tried./ [ She wrings her hands, fingernails drawing small bleeding crescent wounds in her palms like so many times before ]

Does it even m-matter if I'm loud? (💧) Very few ever hear me anyway—especially n-not the likes of you. I've come too far to care what another God says... I-I can't... /She/ is all I have the capacity for anymore and I still wake from nightmares.

Rest assured that your words mean nothing to me. I’ve been called worse by better for far longer than you've been able to form a coherent thought. You’re not telling me anything new, I promise. You're just telling it loudly.

Goddess of Rot #eldenring

/ echo is going to kay her ess someone do a wellness check

(💢) I- I have found that is the nature of God. You seem familiar enough don't you? Ignoring your children, the acolytes who devote their very / Lives / to You. You're all the fucking same. Patronizing bitch—you'd fit right in among the Divinity of the Lands Between.

You’re bursting at the seams with your own emotions, and still you insist upon otherwise. What’s the matter? did * 𝐆𝐎𝐃 turn a deaf ear to you when you needed her most?

> from the inside out from the weight of Decay and whether or not you pay attention to what I say is your prerogative. I imagine you see me as little more than a mayfly set to die within a day—so no matter. I pity those under your purview~ (The gold ones are always cunts.)

I suspect it must. Otherwise, what would be the point of all that effort? Such fleeting little things, the lot of you. Grandeur and all. Even your words carry little weight. But, I digress. You’re quite the bitter little thing, aren’t you? It’s almost entertaining.

I suppose I will grant you that singular agreement. But I must say, it is amusing to me that you take a fact of Life (which you claim to understand implicitly) to be a threat. Your own Ending troubles you that much, does it? I've watched similar 'Divinity' crumble >

Ah. ‘Dust to dust’— You’ve only reminded me of what I already know. Life / is / tedious, indeed. Something that we can agree on. Though I suspect for… entirely different reasons. Tell me, though—does it make you feel vast, threatening a god? Does it make you feel grand?

I have no desire to move you nor do I care for your fragile attempts to belittle me. All life rots eventually, even your abominations. Even you. Dust to dust my Tyrant. Life 𝘪𝘴 tedious.

How utterly tedious. You say these words as if it’s supposed to move me. I fear you might be wrong on that regard, however. I know more of blood and sweat than you might ever expect—I simply find it to be beneath me.

Unfortunately I have nothing to enlighten you on—other than the fact that I find your interest in Life as an abstract over The Living as a collective to be pigheaded at best. The Divine knows nothing of blood and sweat.

A rather presumptuous claim. Do you fancy yourself to know more than the divine, then? Please, by all means, do enlighten me.

A proclaimed Ruler of Life so callous with the living? I wish I could feign surprise anymore... alas.

* Mm.. such 𝒅𝒖𝒍𝒍, unremarkable creatures. She does so wish that someone among them might surprise her enough to justify the air they spend so / 𝙘𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙡𝙮 / in her presence.
