@dcfc_02 @k_morriero @mcmurray_23 I was under the impression that other teams also benefitted from half points for the race. So your supposed point is moot.
@RuadRauFlessa @k_morriero @mcmurray_23 No one should’ve got anything. The point isn’t moot just because other teams got points too 😂 Points still shouldn’t have been awarded
@dcfc_02 @k_morriero @mcmurray_23 You created an equivalence. I merely pointed out that the equivalence you created does, in fact, not prove what you are trying to prove.
@dcfc_02 @k_morriero @mcmurray_23 The rules at the time stated it was how it should be. Just like the rules at the time stated that DAS was lega. The changing of the rules does not mean things become illegal retrospectively.
@RuadRauFlessa @dcfc_02 @mcmurray_23 No one is saying DAS was illegal. Hes trying to say that the FIA allow Redbull to benefit from things in season then disallow the next season to benefit only the teams that benefited from it the previous year. Which is factually wrong. Mercedes had similar situations.
@k_morriero @RuadRauFlessa @mcmurray_23 A lot of the TD related aspects are just clarifications of the rules, not brand-new rules. Whereas DAS, Party Modes etc were never illegal in the first place.
@dcfc_02 @RuadRauFlessa @mcmurray_23 Thank you for mentioning they were never illegal to begin with as was the points system for spa so guess you understand now
@k_morriero @RuadRauFlessa @mcmurray_23 The only reason they ran the 2 laps behind SC was so they didnt have to pay refunds. It wasn't a race, so points shouldnt have been awarded, whether you want to try and spin it that way or not.
@dcfc_02 @k_morriero @mcmurray_23 Regardless of the reason why they ran those laps, running those laps is then what forced them to hand out points as per the regulations at the time.
@RuadRauFlessa @k_morriero @mcmurray_23 They choose to rule in favour of money rather then sporting fairness.
@dcfc_02 @k_morriero @mcmurray_23 Nah, mate. You are trying to move the goalposts. You first had an issue with the legality of a rule and asked for a change to be applied retroactively. Now you want to come and change the story to one of favoring money over fairness. The one does not preclude the other.
@RuadRauFlessa @k_morriero @mcmurray_23 missing the point like most... shocker.
