@RuadRauFlessa @dcfc_02 @mcmurray_23 No one is saying DAS was illegal. Hes trying to say that the FIA allow Redbull to benefit from things in season then disallow the next season to benefit only the teams that benefited from it the previous year. Which is factually wrong. Mercedes had similar situations.
@k_morriero @RuadRauFlessa @mcmurray_23 A lot of the TD related aspects are just clarifications of the rules, not brand-new rules. Whereas DAS, Party Modes etc were never illegal in the first place.
@dcfc_02 @RuadRauFlessa @mcmurray_23 Thank you for mentioning they were never illegal to begin with as was the points system for spa so guess you understand now
@k_morriero @RuadRauFlessa @mcmurray_23 The only reason they ran the 2 laps behind SC was so they didnt have to pay refunds. It wasn't a race, so points shouldnt have been awarded, whether you want to try and spin it that way or not.
@dcfc_02 @k_morriero @mcmurray_23 Regardless of the reason why they ran those laps, running those laps is then what forced them to hand out points as per the regulations at the time.
@RuadRauFlessa @k_morriero @mcmurray_23 They choose to rule in favour of money rather then sporting fairness.
@dcfc_02 @RuadRauFlessa @mcmurray_23 Now you’re talking nonsense. Check out the sporting regulations, read it through before you start making assumptions
@k_morriero @RuadRauFlessa @mcmurray_23 Im not making assumptions. The fans at the track didnt recieve refunds due to them awarding points and classing it as a race. it isnt a race if there are no green flag laps.
@dcfc_02 @RuadRauFlessa @mcmurray_23 What’s your arguement now, so because of that the FIA shouldn’t follow the rules??? Isn’t that what you’re bickering about to begin with to follow rules?
@k_morriero @RuadRauFlessa @mcmurray_23 The rules were wrong in the first place. How can you award any points for a 2 lap spell behind a sc. thats not a race.
@dcfc_02 @k_morriero @mcmurray_23 Regardless of whether the rule was right or wrong. The rule did exist. On one side, you argue that rules should be stringently enforced, and on the other hand, you want to throw the rulebook out the window.
@RuadRauFlessa @k_morriero @mcmurray_23 I think the fia need a lot of pushing to do things right and to have the correct rules but even if they did they still get it wrong many times. AD21 is a prime example of rules which have never caused a problem before being “exploited” and not followed for the benefit of Max.
