@JustinTHoffman @ElisabethBojang Saviour to save him. Read this verse microscopically: Matthew 5:6 KJV
Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
@JustinTHoffman @ElisabethBojang God cannot fill a person with Himself if that person does not hunger and thirst for His Righteousness. How can a person reach that point of thirst and hunger for Righteousness? When that person realizes that he is a sinner and that he is going to hell and he needs a perfect
@JustinTHoffman @ElisabethBojang full of "Repent..." How can people know what to Repent if they don't know they have sinned? How can people know they have sinned if they didn't know the law? The NT says Sin is the transgression of the Law and if you disobey even one Law, you are GUILTY of disobeying the whole Law
@JustinTHoffman @ElisabethBojang You are wrong. The NT is filled with that model of evangelism by letting people realize their sin and where they are going, from John the Baptist who said "Repent...", and Jesus who said "Repent...", and Peter who said "Repent...", and Paul who said "Repent..." and Revelation is
@ElisabethBojang You are wrong! Read this verse microscopically: Galatians 3:24 KJV
Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
@GeorgeEWade@RandySkeete Was Jesus gentle and loving when He said these words in Matthew 23:27-29 KJV
Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness...
@GeorgeEWade@RandySkeete We should thank someone who reminds us of the Word of God in order to escape the judgment of the Judge (God's Word) in the Last day, and not condemn that person as judgmental.
@GeorgeEWade@RandySkeete "He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that Judgeth him: the WORD that I have spoken, the same shall Judge him in the Last day."
@GeorgeEWade@RandySkeete The Standard is the Word of God. If the Standard is too high for our human ability, the more we should as the help and strangth of the Lord Jesus Christ to OBEY the Standard. The Lord says in John 12:48 KJV:
@RandySkeete If we keep our wants low, e.g.buying a reasonable car instead of buying the latest very expensive car model, we won't want so much money, so we would not engage in another work commitment, so we keep our family time commitment a priority. Am I correct in this thinking, Pastor?
@RandySkeete Since you encourage us to THINK, I think what you mean, Pastor, is having too much commitment with work, like working 2 jobs or 3 jobs, at the expense of Sabbath time or family time, is like we are slaves to Money that is why we have too much work commitments.
