I’m heartbroken by the horrific tragedy in Uvalde. As a mother, I cannot imagine the pain and devastation being felt by the victims’ families as a result of this senseless violence. May God be with them and comfort them during this time of unthinkable sadness.

My heart aches for the Uvalde, Texas community. As a parent, I'm filled with grief for the families & students; concern that as we move past COVID, fear of school shootings has become real once again & anger at the lack of will by many to pass legislation to protect our children.
