Sentient normally means something that can actually feel and have experiences. Using it this way for a car starts drifting the meaning, and pretty soon people talk about it like it ‘knows’ or ‘doesn’t want’ to do something. That quietly changes how we watch it and who gets the blame.
@Scobleizer True. You will be able to ask the Roadster to perform any of the tricks shown autonomously, as it will be sentient. Also, we will have a wild looping track (crazier even than Hot Wheels) at our Texas HQ where you can test out your Roadster.
