Safety #running tip for #runners : acquire some sort of id to go on your person in the event you are hurt outside on a run and need to be identified. But do not get one for your shoe-paramedics will always check your wrist, but never your shoes #marathon #marathontraining

Today’s tip for #runners : don’t buy in to the carb up fallacy the night before a race. Eat like you would normally eat. After the race you can carb up as much as you want. Doing it the night before risks spending half of your race #running for the toilet #marathon

#running and #runners tip of the day: hydration when you’re not running is more important than trying to hydrate mid run. If you stay well hydrated for the weeks leading up to a race, hydration mid race becomes much more manageable #marathon #marathontraining

#running #runningshoes and #runner tip of the day: when you find a pair of shoes you like, buy two at a time. If you can rotate them they will last longer than twice as long as a single pair because you allow them to dry out #marathon #marathontraining

@candicestorms Congratulations! It’s a long, hard journey but there is no other feeling in the world like crossing the finish line at 26.2. Let me know if you have any questions or if I can help in any way

#running tip of the day: for a longer #run apply Vaseline liberally to your bare feet before putting your #runningshoes on. It will help you avoid blisters #runner #fitness #marathon #marathontraining

#running tip for the day: when flying for a race pack your shoes in your carry on. If #runners lose their bags everything is replaceable last minute, except your shoes #marathon #marathontraining
