The US continues to be shitty. Distracting myself with my new hobby: embroidery. Got a kit recently to learn. The one in the pic is the one I did after the kit, all on my own! Yay lots of stabbing!

Wait no, it was my science or math teacher. And I got the first few books for Christmas that year, so I was 11. In retrospect, it’s WILD I made it through that book. Talk about learning curve! Plus some dense prose.

Curse of the Mistwraith spoilers . . . . . . . Lysaer’s sense of justice being twisted by the curse was infuriating to read in high school, but is even more so now. Reads very self-righteous conservative asshole to me now. Worst possible interpretation of everything Arithon does.

However you know whose job it absolutely was to get the show renewed? @PrimeVideo. It was the network's job to promote it to people not already watching, their job to create merch and goodies, their job to secure the IP, their job to offer options if indeed it was too expensive

I’m so tired of finding AI in my students’ essays. It’s thankfully a relatively small number, but still depressing. And hard to know how to deal with, since they’re mostly not just 100% pasted from AI.

Why would Draven want Galen Erso killed instead of extracted anyway? I can see telling Cassian to try to extract him, but to not hesitate to kill him if it goes wrong. Why not even try to extract if possible?
