You will be able to check boxes after you already opened them in Servant of the Lake. There's no reason to why you would do that but it is in the game. Meanwhile, you will not be able to check boxes before you closed them in Lake of the Servant.

There will a painting of Aldous in Servant of the Lake. Aldous himself might also appear during the game but that is uncertain since he is a lake and the game is about the servant, not the lake. Sorry, Aldous.

The kitchen's chair in Servant of the Lake is almost the same as in The Past Within. This suggests one of the Vanderboom family members made it smaller for no reason.
