After 8 years of hard training Olivia McNulty passed her Black Belt Grading (1st Dan Junior) in Karate just before lock down on 21st December 2020. A massive congratulations👏

Congratulations to Ellie Donnelly, Cara Johnstone, Amy Mailey, Tammin Simpson, Lily Deery and Holly McGowan who were outstanding and delighted that this money will be able to make an enormous difference to the lives of so many people in our EK community.
We are very proud of everyone in S2’s Achievements in the YPI programme this year including their excellent presentations. It was evident how much research and planning had gone into each presentation and it was great to see the positive connections made with local charities.
Anthony Nolan help three people each day find that lifesaving match. Today we had 59 of our S6 pupils who are now registered with the Anthony Nolan trust hopefully with the potential to save a life in the future. Truly inspirational!
Today our S6 Leadership class hosted our Anthony Nolan Event -they are the leading UK Blood Cancer Charity who match individuals willing to donate their blood stem cells or bone marrow to people with blood cancer and blood disorders who desperately need lifesaving transplants.
Team Medals Level 2 team 2nd place Rachel McNaught, Julia Fracjek and Mariana Monterio Level 3 team 1st place Emma Byrne, Abby Henry, Millie Brooks and Aimee Mailey Level 3 Elite team 1st place Amy Marshall, Olivia Fielding and Millie Aitken. Fantastic result #widerachievement🎖️
Congratulations to our sixteen gymnasts who competed in the south Lanarkshire competition. Ten of our pupils earned fourteen medals between them! Level 2 - Mariana Monteiro 1st Level 3 – Millie Brooks 2nd and Aimee Mailey 3rd Level 3 Elite – Millie Aitken 1st. #widerachievement
YPI School Final 17th December: Eight winning teams will be presenting in front of a large audience in support of their chosen charities. This event promises to be an inspiring, exciting and dramatic occasion as one team will be awarded a £3000 grant towards their chosen charity
