The storm has actually now traditioned to being fully tropical as well which means that SAB will now give us dvorak fixes for the system as well! We'll probably do our next forecast tmrw afternoon.

The subtropical storm we have been tracking over the post couple of days has now been named Akará by the Brazillian Navy.

Gonna wait until we get the evening/night scatterometer passes before making the next outlook. The cyclone hasn't seemed to strengthen given its convective structure remains the same, but would definitely want the wind data for the forecast.
