While we don't have a release date yet, 1.20 support is coming to TrueRealism HD! The work for the update itself is complete, and it is now in the approval process.
Please be advised that there is a bug in the 1.20.0 release of Minecraft, impacting all high-resolution texture packs, causing particular items to be rendered much larger than they should in third person view. This is a bug with the game itself rather than a particular pack.
You can now reduce fog intensity on TrueRealism HD. This feature is intended primarily for older devices, which may have excessive fog due to low render distances. The following video demonstrates how to enable the option.
TrueRealism HD has been updated! You can expect the following tweaks: - New reduced fog option - Tweaked air & water fog - Tweaked water colors - Darkened oak planks and derivative blocks - Darkened wheat crops - Removed faint lines in sky - Other various minor fixes/improvements

@PathwayMC @SCTstudios I could not recommend this pack enough. Beautiful atmosphere’s, day and night cycle, indoors and outdoors, and moving/animated grass, trees, flowers and crops. After playing with this resource pack, it will be difficult going back to vanilla Minecraft again.

There is a good chance that this regression was a mistake, as it isn't listed in the changelog. Hopefully Mojang will refix this one quickly.
Got collisions working between the edges of physics cubes and edges of Minecraft blocks. It's not perfect, but it still looks pretty believable most of the time. Helps a lot with rolling off of ledges.

Really hoping this gets fixed before 1.20.60 officially releases. Being able to control the weight of shading on every single block separately does wonders for resource pack makers. The hard work of making the property functional is finished—why not fix it correctly?
Mojang has NOT fixed this regression in the latest preview. It has also not appeared in any changelog. Is it a versioning issue? An intentional reversion? Radio silence. x.com/agentms_/statu…
I knew it! I called it! Mojang REVERTED the functional brightness_gamma fix instead of properly fixing it in the default resources! If only there were multiple bug reports about the actual source of this issue (which emphasizes not to revert the fix)... bugs.mojang.com/browse/MCPE-17…
LateLag just did a deep dive into how blocks.json has been updated throughout the flattening. It turns out, almost every flattened block ID is incomplete, with the separated IDs using inconsistent entries in blocks.json! This inconsistency is quite unintuitive for creators.
