@TylerDavid112 @SparksFly_4 @EllyProductions Larson completed the pass on Gilliland before going down to the line. Even with that, he never fully crossed down over the yellow line. Tires are still on top of it. Hill’s left sides completely crossed the yellow line passing Larson for the lead.

@jeff_gluck I actually thought it was one of the better Phoenix races. Tires were wearing out, and you could gamble on the strategy a bit if you had a good enough car. Track was racy and you could make passes. I didn’t see too much that would’ve detracted from the race IMO.

They are on a ratcheting mechanism with slots along the wheel where the restraint locks into place. The rider above is in no danger. He’s sitting far enough down that the restraint covers the gap between it and the seat.

@VaughnFry There’s a big difference between YOU feeling unsafe and the restraints themselves actually being unsafe. There are an insane amount of redundancies and failsafes built into these coasters in efforts to prevent things like this happening. This was operator negligence unfortunately

@GOWENYT I kept watching him all race, and he had a very good long run car in stage one and the final stage. Ran the top all day and made good passes. One of the fastest cars on the track in clean air.

@jeff_gluck From someone sitting in the stands, it was very average. Clean air was king, and it was very hard to pass. I’d have to think if it was actually sunny out with heat on the track, if the racing would’ve been much better. Seemed like everyone was glued to the track.

@slavinisourgoat I’ve always thought highly of KK. I think he just panned out to be a different type of player than he was projected to be. He’s good at the grinder/physical type role rather than being a scorer.
