NPA is a misnomer Not paid in lieu of practice as a government doctor is not entitled to run 'any' private enterprise for profit. Reason for NPA 1. Arduous nature of duty 2. Late entry into service 3. Lesser years of total service @BalbirSinghMLA @cmopb @punjabgovtindia @HTPunjab
