cbs8.com/article/news/l… There are college students that work as valet drivers. Any negative effect on businesses will affect them as well. Not only are we (residents and workers) in East Village, Downtown, Gaslamp, & other areas parking a mile away, now the jobs are threatened.

The parking spots that used to be occupied by residents of East Village are mostly empty. We're all parking in other neighborhoods to avoid the tyrannical fees from San Diego City Council.

So many drug users! As usual they gather along C St. Drug users seem to like this Jack in the Box on C & 11th across from a transit point (with trolleys and MTS buses). These groups are willingly damaging themselves. Time for serious & permanent solutions.

No matter how oppressive San Diego City Hall becomes & enforces extreme parking rates & extended metering hours to 8 pm Mon-Fri, I will do anything but pay a single dime to the shitheads in City Hall. Even if it means carrying heavy bags from Bankers Hill to East Village.

The tyrants at San Diego City Hall are now charging for metered parking until 8 pm Monday through Saturday. Not only are they enforcing an extreme rate increase in the area near Petco Park, now they extended the metering up to 8 pm in areas north of Broadway up to Beech St.
