@SECottrell @Spotify I choose Spotify playlists more by specific artists and then while I’m listening if I like a song and it seems ok to me, I add it to my “music for school” playlist. That is the only list with songs that have lyrics that I play in school.

@KatyReddick @SECottrell @MattLaoshi That has crossed my mind! Or prep time during the day. And... 20 minutes, eek!! Just saying! We used to have 22, & finally were able to negotiate up to a whopping 30 mins. Those 10 mins different can be an eternity though!
@SECottrell @MattLaoshi And at least in my district, kids are VERY mobile, lots of after school activities, sports, travel in & out of the state. Plus, we are a heavy tourist state, so usually a huge influx of out of staters every year
@SECottrell @MattLaoshi We have a lot of families where both adults need to work, or single parent households where he/she needs to work, & no daycare options b/c they are closed. It’s going to be really tough

Happy #earlylang day! I have spent my entire teaching career (ALT days included) teaching PK-8. I think every child should have the opportunity to learn a 2nd language&to learn about their own &other cultures so that they can grow up to be responsible members of a global society!
