Vinyl finally pressed, waiting on packaging. Please be patient, it's coming in a fortnight.
Delighted to have interviewed Doug McKechnie for the new issue of Electronic Sound. I’ve been fascinated by the San Francisco synth legend since seeing him many years ago in ‘Gimme Shelter’, the Rolling Stones’ film about Altamont. Cheers Doug! @SFSYNTH @ElectronicMagUK
Still one hell of a ride even after 50 years. My deepest gratitude to Bruce Hatch for his honesty and his vision.
Delighted to have such a thoughtful and colorful account of @SFSYNTH’s work out in the world. The stories! Thanks @Pushtweeting..
@vgplusrecs @Pushtweeting Push, you're the best. Thank you and I'm so looking forward to raising a pint in your favorite pub in the not too distant future.
@pete_paldridge @Pushtweeting @ElectronicMagUK Hey, Pete. Not to worry. Vinyl delayed but coming. Thanks for the interest.
The June 21st Solstice performance with Rainbow Jam light show and Big Mama Thornton was an extraordinary evening, setting the stage for more performances with Rainbow Jam in Salt Lake City in the Hansen Planetarium. Good times.
A few graphics from that era. The whole four years was extraordinary.
@vgplusrecs @TheBuffaloJoe @ElectronicMagUK @lightintheattic @ShinyBeastHQ Can't wait to read this upcoming article in the Nov. issue.
@SFWeekly It is a thrill to be able to share these pieces with the world.🎧☯️♾
@vgplusrecs @the_musoscribe @SFWeekly Ignorance is occasionally a blessing.
@vgplusrecs @TimothyNohe Thank you, Timothy for your sublime images.
@vgplusrecs @Bandcamp @drSpace What a treat to relive those days. Photo by John Pierce. In fact, all the pics from that era at the SF Rad Lab were by John Pierce.
@bourgwick @deadheadned @aquadrunkard @vgplusrecs The Moog was used to modulate the voice with an envelope generator giving a false vibrato to the singing. No Moog, no vibrato. Definitely used.
@bourgwick @vgplusrecs Fifty years or so is just about right for this music to surface. The Public Ear is ready and willing, apparently. I am honored that VG+ Records is doing this and feel like the school kid who just got chosen for the team..
@WhitSnow @vgplusrecs Thank you very much. Be happy you're not that old now. lol
A few graphics from that era. The whole four years was extraordinary.
