For Frosty it was really fun working with the other year 8 violins and violas and seeing everyone playing together was great. At @shskmusic I have had so many different opportunities to play with others and I have learnt so much in the process. Rose

As one of our members had a broken finger, our usual string quartet was down to three. Nevertheless, it was very fun to record White Christmas, the title piece from my favourite Christmas film. Merry Christmas! Eleanor

I have loved playing in this cello trio. This Christmas music feels more important than ever. It reminds me of more normal times. Sending a recording of my music to grandparents makes us feel close even though we can’t be together. Emma

This song is about dancing around a beautiful Christmas tree - as if the tree is being decorated by each instrument. The atmosphere is so jolly - through music we share happiness. At @shskmusic we can explore interests and develop skills, diving into a whole new world. Isabella

Finally, a lighter note from Elizabeth: "We've really enjoyed playing all these different pieces as a family after the NHS clapping over the last few weeks, and many of our neighbours have thanked us for helping to keep their spirits up during the lockdown."
