We base our qualification requirements on licensable activity. If you are applying for a door supervision or security guarding licence, you must fulfil our first aid requirement before starting your application. Visit our webpage for more information: gov.uk/government/pub…
@SIAuk I really begrudge having to pay for yet more training. Where I work we have first aiders, I'm touch phobic and broke. This non optional cost will gain me nothing and benefit only the sia and training people. I'm in house so debating just giving my licence up.
@SIAuk I'm guessing no one answers here as on Facebook get palmed off on the phone and still can't work or look for work as it's been 4 months without a decision on my license you've had my dbs since 28th of December last year
@SIAuk Do the right thing and remove the first aid aspect as it’s not needed. Plus it’s an added expense to keep people in employment. This clearly hasn’t been thought out.
@SIAuk If you are based in the North East of England (or don't mind the travel) we offer both SIA Door Supervisor Training (or the 1 dy Top-Up) & the First Aid Training required. We are Highfield Accredited & offer a discount if you get both Training & 1st Aid. tridentmanor-ta.com
