Great day at the John Izzo Classic today. SJCI was 8th place in the D1 varsity race. Lots of great performances and some big personal bests!
The JV squad looked great today as the trio of Alessandro Mancini, Oliver Scott, and Luke Finnerty all logged top 10 finishes contributing to a 2nd place team finish. #Marauders #FireaitUp
The Varsity team will be bringing home some hardware today with a 3rd place finish at the Kota-Reis Invitational. The team was lead by Weston Peirick with a time of 17:20. #Marauders #FireItUp
We had a blast racing at Dash in the Dark tonight. Some phenomenal performances that are promising for the season ahead.
We had a great day this morning at our Maroon and White scrimmage this morning! Big thanks to all of the Alumni and friends of the program for helping to make it such a great atmosphere. Our first race of the season will be Dash in the Dark this Friday evening.

Minor corrections: Bowdain Park on the 23rd
Lots of fantastic performances today at our the All-Catholic championship. The team was led by Anthony Scarozza with a time of 17:51. His 4th place finish qualifies him for the federation meet at Boudain Park on November 22nd.
The big show comes to Como Lake Park this Wednesday. J.V. will set the tone at Noon seeking a repeat championship. The varsity race goes off at 1:30 p.m. as the boys will be racing for both a team championship and individual success in the form of bids to the Federation meet
It was an excellent day on the course today where the team defeated Canisius in a score of 19-36. Anthony Scarozza lead the charge in a 17:51 breaking 18 for the first time. Sam Napoli took 2nd while Jackson Famiglietti dipped beneath 19 for the first time to secure 3rd. #SJCI
Tonight we took an opportunity to honor the seniors on our team. These 6 young men combine for 13 seasons of cross country and are leaders of the team on and off the course. We thank them for their hard work and commitment and can’t wait to see what’s next in store for them.

We had some team bonding tonight as part of this year’s travel trip. Based on the results I don’t think any of us are going to be taking varsity spots from @SJCIBowling
With a handful of team veterans out sick Sam Napoli stepped up and lead the team effort today with a time of 19:39 as we fell to Nichols 41-17 and pulled out a 25-32 win over Bishop Timon. Great effort by all the boys today.
Ventured out to Chestnut ridge this morning for some hill work. The boys earned some donuts and cider after and a handful of exceptional performers earned themselves a pumpkin.
