What is the state of the Washington Commanders you ask? So bad that not only did they bury the new logo, they buried the old. From poor calling, frustrated players and coaches, and overall general dysfunction it’s as bad as it can get. The question becomes, can they be saved?

Commanders fall to Chiefs 35-24 at Arrowhead. This was a winnable game. In fact the Commanders had early control but again, mistakes and miscues did them in. In his press conference, the Commanders AV team accidentally put up a golf course backdrop. Looks like vacation time soon.

Coach Disco has been quietly concerned this could be his fate. Never mind the fact he hasn’t coached in this league for very long now, but he full well knows the NFL stands for NOT FOR LONG when you are responsible for what happens on that field.

Washington DC- Not much to say other than what the hell is happening with the Commanders? 1-5. Thoroughly embarrassed at home by the Bears. Humiliated at home. It’s a running theme this year. When asked, Coach Disco responded simply “ASS”. What’s next? Stay tuned.

“I am going to do everything in my power to turn this around. My players, our coaches and staff…we have not thrown the towel in. We got a lot of fight left. There is no lack of confidence in this locker room”. 1-2

After locking himself away in a bomb shelter for the past few weeks to avoid the fallout of the horrendous start to the season, Coach Disco made a media appearance. “I place the blame squarely on me. I am not putting my players in the best positions to succeed. Period.” 1-1

Head Coach Disco met with the media this morning to discuss the loss. “Look. We got whooped. Plain and simple. And I don’t think I helped the team with the horrendous game plan. We have high standards here and adjustments have been made”. The main message? Cautious optimism.
