Every single activity I gave up in frustration, thinking I was doing it wrong or couldn't do it at all, turned out to just be something I had Very Specific Needs For and once I started fulfilling those needs on purpose I could do the thing.

For the longest time I thought I didn't know how to dress, couldn't style my hair, would never master makeup. I would have given up entirely if it weren't for needing to do those things for work. I tried things & hated them; they didn't look right; it wasn't working.

@SNeurotypicals Me with drawing. Once I figured out my fine motor skills were just not great, I found a program to smooth out my brush/pencil strokes in Photoshop/Illustrator and have been on a roll since Also extras for my sewing machine to help keep things steady 'cause my right hand is weak
