BT made £1.3bn, gave £750m to shareholders and the CEO got £3.5m. We have members using foodbanks. Today BT announced £400m profit for 1/4 year. Tomorrow our members strike for the first time since 1987 and have been subjected to extreme intimidation. RT if you back them.

It was in April - May 2022 in India & Pakistan. The extreme #heatwave a LST collected on April 29 shows max value exceeding 62°C/143°F. The world was silent because it was in global south. Now the world seems wake up when Europe now hit with 42⁰C /107.6⁰F. #ClimateEmergency

Had the pleasure of interviewing Mick Lynch of the @RMTunion last night - his argument is pretty straightforward. Large company profits should be distributed to workers, and 7 to 9 percent rise would seal the deal in this dispute.
