$DMIIU raising $500 million in their SPAC IPO today. Units contain a right for 1/10th share. Most SPACs, especially those with rights, don't deliver any of that cash in trust to a target. Kind of funny to raise half a billion only to presumably give it back in a year or two. Eh.

$OTGAU has just snuck into the pole position of my SPACfolio; may take some patience, but units (include half a warrant) trading at a discount to $10.06 cash in trust. Feels like a target area that people could like (data centers, perhaps pick n shovels). xipllc.com/expedition-inf…

The nice thing about some recent seemingly successful SPAC DA's like $CCCX $HOND $WLAC etc is there's now a playbook that sponsors can try to follow. A big help is pricing a deal at a level where some investors are actually willing to own. Novel idea, right? Bull market helps too

Also on $OTGAU; they are effectively sponsored by ("advised by") Expedition Infrastructure Partners. "backed by one of America’s leading privately held real estate and infrastructure conglomerates". Worst case, has some nice buzzwords. Best case it works xipllc.com/about-us/

I feel like $OTGAU is a bit overlooked. 10.05+ in trust, half a warrant; potential data center focus (hello $WLAC). Can grab a share plus half a warrant for a bit under cash. Now my 2nd largest SPAC holding; like it best at 10.03 or better, but getting spendy at 10.04!

$HCMAU splits into $HCMA and $HCMAW Monday; seems priced about right. Hard to predict how much of $HOND success will be priced into shares/warrants. I prefer some other more under the radar recent SPACs, but worth watching for sure.

$CCCX $HOND $WLAC $DMYY etc; $PEW temporarily stalled our little SPAC cycle, taking $GSRT and some others with it (deservedly so probably); but green shoots are here. Equity optionality needs to be priced back in. Good for pre-DA SPAC commons, warrants, units.

$LATAU; 1/3 warrant and no overfunded trust seems rich, considering their previous offering brought us the glorious $MRT Some higher profile SPACs coming soon. Not sure why folks buying this at $10, unless they hope to get better allocations on the hot ones coming next

I spent this afternoon listening. Nice window into the wizard @DTAPCAP behind the curtain of $ONCH. I hate owning SPACs at a premium when I can own discounts, but here is a place I'm willing to make an exception. Hopefully SPAC-holders can do well alongside Dan's LPs.

We now have 14 total SPAC warrants trading above $1, with 5 of them trading above $2. We haven’t seen warrant upside like this in years. All of them on the list are either AI, crypto, quantum, or nuclear related DAs or searching crypto.
