Obviously it comes down to the term and AAV, but extending Buch would be a mistake imo. He reeks of a guy that won’t be able to keep it up in his 30s. If STL was “going for it” from ‘25-27, I’d get it, but that’s not the case. Plus he’d return a haul by next deadline. #STLBlues

@STLBluesViews Mo extended Carpenter and that worked out fine so… LOL. It will be a terrible signing if it happens and we wont get much needed value in a trade. I have less faith in Armstrong every day.
@STLBluesViews Ok but most ur getting is a first and prospect it’s not like ur getting a number one draft choice and a big name winger or dman …
@STLBluesViews I don’t mind extending him but I’m sure Army will over pay and give him a NTC
@STLBluesViews If he would get a haul next year, he would have gotten more this year. And he didn’t. Or he would have been moved.
@STLBluesViews I’m very disappointed in Pavel down the stretch. The blues need to trade him in the off-season. We need to go younger he’s always played on a good line. He’s a middling guy.
@STLBluesViews A haul by next deadline? I doubt it. Maybe you get a first and an ok prospect. But teams aren’t giving hauls for players at the deadline unless they have term, which he won’t have. If they move him it has to be this offseason.
@STLBluesViews My biggest concern is that he wasn’t even good this year
