Permanent residency means sponsorship: spouse, kids, parents, grandparents to follow. One approval becomes a household. No requirement to offer the job to a Canadian first. And "high-wage" is a trick. It means the job category averages about $40/hr, roughly $84,000 a year. BUT THE WORKER THEY ACTUALLY BRING DOESN’T HAVE TO BE PAID THAT. The paycheque can be low.
