Bonus objectives will automatically appear on their own if you are killing or looting in the vicinity of a primary quest. They are optional.
When auto-looting, be sure to check your bags or the chat window periodically to see what you've picked up. Could be useful stuff in there!
Using auto-loot will still prompt for rolls on special items when you are in a group.
If you get tired of individually looting each item, you can turn on auto-loot and/or area loot to get back in the action.
Putting your mouse over a group story entrance will give you additional information about eligibility.
A group story area that is red is off limits to you. It might be ineligible for your class or it might be for a quest you haven't picked up.
Don't forget to learn new taxi points when you get to new areas. If you haven't learned it, there will be a circle around the taxi icon.
BioWare offers an account security key tool on a keychain or on your smartphone. This is a crucial security step.
Change your password regularly, and certainly every time you feel like something is going funky with your computer.
Recommending that you don't buy gold/credits at all as that supports the account hacking industry. Vote for honesty with your wallet.
Be careful buying from 3rd party sites. Those sites are often riddled with spyware & keyloggers, & more important is your credit health.
Only download and launch known and trusted programs. Read reviews about software you may have questions about.
Get good anti-virus and malware scanning software. There are free options out there, but you want your computer to be like Fort Knox.
I will again clarify... Don't actually use the word Password in your password. That was an example.
Use a different password for each account. Using our last tip, you can change the ending. P@s$w0rdwarcraft vs. P@s$w0rdstarwars
I will also clarify... Don't actually use the word Password in your password. That was an example.
Make your password strong. Numbers, letters and symbols are good combos. Also 16+ characters are very hard to decrypt. i.e. P@s$w0rdwarcraft
Glance rating increases your chance to block.
Account security tips! Keep your password secret. Don't even tell your baby puppy. They are smarter than they look!
Shield rating increases your chance to be shielded when attacked.
