Spread the word that we want safe teachers and a real education!
The Hemet Teachers Association is voicing its concern over the screening of substitutes.
All good foundational documents must be malleable. Here is the updated Declaration of Intent
@McCraeRemudaro so "school" during the strike will still be failing to provide us the service it is supposed to.
The district will not be hiring subs without background checks and fingerprinting!
And also some assurance that the school will be properly staffed for safety. We don't want the same situation as in other strike schools!
The district office has said the Subs will be background checked and finger printed. That's good! Now to address our second grievance.
Hey SEM! What are some of your personal concerns about the upcoming strike?
Please involve your parents in the decision to stay home during the strike! They need to be told that you won't receive proper instruction.
We don't want our education interrupted. We want real, credentialed teachers. Or we will not waste our time by attending "school"
