This is SD scooter company “self-management”: violation of regulations. Alyssa Muto @alyssa_m_muto head of the dept. overseeing scooter companies says “self-management” will lead to compliance. She’s been “talking to” them every week since Summer 2020. This is how they “listen”.

Impounding is the ONLY measure used by @MayorToddGloria and @alyssa_m_muto to enforce scooter parking regulations, costing $360k/yr. In 2021 ONE SCOOTER was impounded for every ONE HUNDRED COMPLAINTS. Each impounded scooter cost the City over $1,000. @JoeLaCavaD1 @CMWhitburnD3
