love that the shift isn’t “books → eBooks → NFTs.” It’s stories → standards → protocols. Once publishing moves onchain, ownership becomes programmable and value flows back to creators + readers.
Publishing isn’t broken because people don’t read. It’s broken because authors don’t own, readers don’t share value, and content has no verifiable identity. Tokenising publishing fixes all three.
I don’t believe in disrupting publishing. I believe in repairing it. Fairer royalties. Transparent ownership. Readers who share in the upside. That’s not disruption. That’s justice.
Even open-source software is not safe these days. Web 3 will redefine security for Web 2. We are still early.
For authors → proof of authorship, transparent royalties. For readers → confidence they own the authentic work. For the ecosystem → a universal standard every platform can adopt.
