He doesn’t smile. He just stops, stares at the clock, and detonates. What follows is three minutes of pure, unfiltered rage — the kind of rant that makes you wonder if the guy on stage is still performing or just having a public breakdown in real time. A 9-year-old boy stands sobbing in front of 40 neighborhood kids at his own birthday party. Have you had trauma therapy?" McConaughey's blunt answer: "Don't trespass on my childhood. I wasn’t abused. Did I fear my parents? Yes. Did I fear consequences? Yes. But I always knew I was loved." His parents never grounded him because time was too sacred to waste sitting in a room. Take your licks, kill the excuses, and get back into the arena. Modern culture tries to eliminate all friction, raising a generation terrified of discomfort. Old-school discipline used pain to forge an unbreakable spine. Did this brutal tough love build a resilient man, or is he just defending generational trauma? Where do you draw the line?

A drum machine helped announce a radically different Smashing Pumpkins in 1998. With Jimmy Chamberlin no longer in the band, “Ava Adore” moved away from much of the huge guitar attack of their earlier records, embracing electronic beats and gothic textures instead. It became the lead single from Adore, an album shaped by major changes within the group and Billy Corgan’s increasingly experimental approach to recording. Its surreal music video was constructed to resemble one continuous moving camera shot. At Pinkpop on 1 June 1998, “Ava Adore” showed a band deliberately refusing to simply recreate the sound that had made them stars.
let this be a lesson to never skip the local festival because you may see the best band nobody's ever heard of play a set worthy of a 5k capacity venue (the band is called WASTE!! they are from Belgium, their first album is called Scream Until It's Beautiful)
