@megbasham I’m guessing it may have more to do with the social makeup of the squad at school. Not meaning anything unkind at all, just that the girls usually know who their people are in HS and sometimes they intuitively know it’s just not a fit.

This is the next logical step from “reproductive rights.” If you can take the life of a pre-born person who presents an inconvenience, why shouldn’t you be able to take the life of a born person who also has become inconvenient/a perceived impediment to mental health. This would hold true across all races. That’s what this erudite lady is saying to applause.

@Realalexclark Mom here…I’m good with 1 and 2 under certain conditions. Maybe “low-info TikTok moms?”

Unfortunately, since there isn’t a locked down mental institution in Georgia where this man could have been put away, the governing authorities need to man public spaces (Beltline, parks, MARTA stations, shopping areas, etc.) with armed police ready to use lethal force against any and all threats. Those are the only two choices, or innocent Atlantans will just keep getting taken out by these mental cases and psychotic drug addicts. Pick your poison!

@CodyAlcorn If you wonder why all the great suburban kids from North Atlanta are now flooding Auburn despite the price tag, this is one of the reasons why.

In contrast to this horrific description, I read something on X last week about how a baby’s cells embed themselves in their mother’s body during pregnancy, and if many years later that mother suffers and injury, the cells of her children often rush to injury sites to aid in healing. So these precious little ones’ cells probably went to aid their mother’s self-inflicted injuries as part of God’s beautiful design. This woman just completely and abominably corrupted that design, but “Vengeance is mine. I shall repay, thus saith the Lord.”

This is the end result of all the TikTok, Insta, social media craze where the beauty/hotness standard for young women gets established and reinforced. As a mom of daughters, it sucks. I grew up seeing women like the three dancers featured in still photos in magazines like Sassy, Elle, Seventeen, etc. But in my actual sorority, we didn’t feel pressured to meet this standard, especially when marketing ourselves to other young women during Rush. Ironically, the social media craze around the rush videos and dances is really objectifying women as sexual commodities—and fellow women are really playing along. Case in point, if you critique these videos, “you’re just an ugly hater.” I started noticing this phenomenon with how young women and girls were dressing to go see Taylor Swift, often in mom/daughter combos. It was weird to see such provocative, sexy outfits (what I would primarily consider a turn-on for just my husband) being worn in the company of other women to go see a female performer. We’re really warping God’s good design all over the place. Sigh.

It’s 1992…I’m combining a few meager babysitting $s with some quarters scrounged from Dad’s spare change shoe box. With a grand total of $5, we would score a pack of Basic Lights and a 40 oz. of Bud Light…and have a grand evening. Now my daughter pays a $20 cover charge just to enter a bar, and the beer is $12.

Jennifer, I wouldn’t even have known about you except for your early advocacy to open schools. Now I love following you as an advocate for protecting and honoring female athletes. Who knows if the courage you had to speak out against pointless Covid tyranny early on was the root of your courage to speak out against the intrusion of men into women’s athletics and spaces? I too have cried reading these disgusting narcissistic diary entries and thinking about what so many people lost during the (useless) lockdowns. But I am a believer in a God of justice. And I’m holding on very tightly to His promises to deal it out—perfectly and in His own time. He will do it! Keep the faith.

@BowTiedBroke I’m sure she will personally receive the lucrative payout these types always seem to negotiate up front, despite destroying a lot of shareholder value and ruffling the feathers of loyal clientele. She’ll probably never eat there again!

@SenRandPaul Tony Fauci listening to Barbara Streisand songs while plotting the shut-down of our economy is the modern-day “Nero fiddled while Rome burned.”

@RepRickAllen Um, who actually complains about this? Georgian here and I hate this bill.

@SenTuberville I normally like you, but this is so bad for health and circadian rhythm in winter. Ther are two other, better options with PST, or doing 30-minute incremental zones. Bless, y’all can’t get anything right, can you?

@LangmanVince Supercalifragilistically pissed!

@SenAshleyMoody Moron!

@DougBillings Can you people get anything right? Permanent Standard Time. More hours for little league, please. We have lights for that.

@realalexclark They truly can’t do anything right. Sigh.

@bonchieredstate Never thought I’d be impressed with Chris Coumo, but he seems pretty sharp here. 🤔

@MaryAnnreports @RonColeman In the movie, Requiem for a Dream, the black character says he will never live like a slave. Then he gets arrested for heroin and ends up slaving over vats of laundry in prison. This kind of reminds me of that.

@FreddyLA7 This is very American! ❤️🤍💙
