Voting is a problem, yes. But look at the left-column. How many of those things, as a free and independent citizen, should you be required to show ID for? I argue: none of them. The Government regulates (taxes) all of those on the left to restrict your freedoms and to tax you.

Nobody ever says presenting a valid ID is an unreasonable request EXCEPT when it comes to voting. How many people: • are US citizens; and • are eligible to vote; and • want to vote; and • don't do any of the things in the left column; and • for some reason can't get an ID?
