In Poplar we’ve been learning about primary and secondary colours today - using our colouring pencils to explore how colours mix and create colour combinations 🖍️🎨

What an amazing day! Poplar had a fantastic time at the National Science and Media Museum in Bradford. The children loved exploring the interactive exhibits, learning about film and photography, and taking part in lots of hands-on activities. Such a fun and inspiring trip! 📺📽️

Today we looked at the work of Andy Warhol and discussed his style of art. We talked about the colours he used, about what it means to ‘print’ and how he used this in his work. We learnt about primary colours, we then used 3D shapes to make print patterns using primary colours.🎨
