Welcoming to your institution a cowardly, unrepentant murderer who has held no meaningful roles, accomplished nothing of note, said nothing of import & added nothing to society other than hate & death is truly a choice, @uofmemphis. Students, staff & teachers must be mortified.

@SarahSpain @uofmemphis When was he convicted of murder? Seems rather an inflammatory remark
@SarahSpain @uofmemphis Very true. As a society. We need to draw the line somewhere. Stop parading these radicals. Nothing to spread but divide.
So you're in favor of silencing people, even though they may be reprehensible? There is something called free speech in this country, and whether it's agreeable or not he is allowed to tell his story. Only if he attempts to incite violence should he be stopped, because that's how free speech works. And FWIW I can't stand the guy.
@SarahSpain @uofmemphis What color is your Kool Aid Sarah? Blue I assume. Good thing you didn’t know Jim Jones I guess.
@SarahSpain @uofmemphis It's ironic how communists like you with all of these highfalutin journalism awards don't support free speech for people you don't like. He was exonerated of all charges. He defended himself.
@SarahSpain @uofmemphis Bro took out criminals and you are mad?? Make it make sense.
One time as a 17 year old I took my gun and myself to situation that didn’t ask me to be there nor did I have the training or self discipline and awareness required to be there and because of that people died at my hand. And then when people tried to hold me accountable for my reckless and irresponsible actions because of political bullshit I was able to get off from murder, so I’m basically a hero. Did I help keep people safe or help the police out with the situation no but I did save my own ass that I put into danger for absolutely no reason. Doesn’t get more heroic than that
@SarahSpain @uofmemphis As much as I agree with every point you’ve made, I do like to see a U allow a radical pov without caving to the opposition. I repeat, you are right about KR. And, I may fear the counter protests more. In conclusion, KR is repugnant.
@SarahSpain @uofmemphis As a public university the faculty and staff or students at the University of Memphis have no choice but to allow this event to proceed. Turning Point is a registered student organization who is allowed to produce events. This speaker is abhorrent but he has a right to be there.
