Today, after the whole neighborhood has been upset about this giant pothole that’s been screwing up cars and bicycles for weeks, I went out with my team and fixed it. I always say, let’s not complain, let’s do something about it. Here you go.
@Schwarzenegger You'll get a fine here in the UK. Yet our local authorities just don't seem to ever fix them. Kudos to you and your team. I mean, who's gonna argue with a Terminator?
@Schwarzenegger Arnold did you get a permit for that?
@Schwarzenegger Cold Ashpalt Bandaid. It will last a couple months maybe...
@Schwarzenegger Cool. But this is all wrong. In order to make pre-packaged asphalt to work properly, the area must be tack-coated, then the asphalt must be heated to activate the oil and emulsion in order for the patch to adhere to the area as well as itself. I do asphalt work for a living.
@Schwarzenegger According to L.A.’s Bureau of Street Services, this is not a pothole — it’s a service trench related to active, permitted work performed at the location by SoCalGas
@Schwarzenegger But without government who will fix the roads!
@Schwarzenegger Talk about celebrity privilege. No normal American could do this without being arrested.
@Schwarzenegger Why pay taxes if I have to fix my own infrastructure?
