Efforts to prevent future pandemics are in focus at #RwandaAgriShow2026, with attention on the Greater Virunga landscape. @IUCNRwanda is promoting a “One Health” approach, highlighting the links between human, animal, plant and environmental health. Experts say stronger community awareness and preparedness could help reduce future health risks. The International Union for Conservation of Nature (@IUCN), present in Rwanda since 2016, supports national conservation and development goals through initiatives aligned with global frameworks, including AFR100, the Convention on Biological Diversity and the Sustainable Development Goals.
