This afternoon, in response to a question on the health benefits of Low Traffic Neighbourhoods #LTNs, I raised the detrimental health effects of imposed LTNs - and asked the minister to read @Togetherdec's “Clean” Air, Dirty Money, Filthy Politics report: togetherdeclaration.org/report/
@lambeth_council when are you going to stop gaslighting & gassing residents of LTN boundary roads with this lack of acknowledgment; count all traffic despite its slow speed, air is now more toxic & concentrated. Reopen all roads, you’re causing more respiratory issues. #ScrapLTNs

Walking is now faster at peak times but then the pollution from the concentrated & congested traffic will take years off your life. Cycling in it more so.
