Suzanne Aldridge, a Honors College junior majoring in Social Work with a Psychology minor, completed a winter study abroad in Belize. "We taught children in a Belize City school lessons on environmental health, oral hygiene, germs, and feelings and emotions." @SUSocialWork

Senior Honors College Ambassador, Katie Hogan, a nursing major, recently spent her winter break in Cape Town, South Africa. Katie "explored both private and public health sectors while living with host families to immerse herself and classmates in the South African culture".
Madison Tivvis, Nursing major with Psychology minor, studied abroad in Belize, earning a health class and Honors credit. "In Belize City, we taught 3rd and 4th grade classes about environment health, emotional health, and proper hygiene including hand washing / teeth brushing.
Honors College Junior, Amanda Rocker, majoring in Biology with Psychology and Chemistry minors, was one of many Honors College students who presented her undergraduate research at the inaugural “Posters on the Bay” research showcase at the Maryland General Assembly in Annapolis.
Junior Honors College Ambassador, Rebecca Flax, majoring in Exercise Science - Allied Health Track, spent her winter break shadowing at Peninsula Regional Medical Center where she got to work with physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech pathologists.
