@moonlightbro Hm, with a bit of tweaking Malfoid could become the catalyst for Dobby going to prevent Harry from coming back to Hogwarts and keeping him safe from what her father has planned. After all, she’s going to warn that stupid Potter herself, and it’s not like she really cares…

@twt_savadava What I've been thinking is that an interesting version of this fix fic would be both Harry and fem-Draco having a character arc. Malfoid sounds like the kind of mean nickname an immature boy would come up with, and be the trigger for years of mutual antagonism.

@G0ffThew That being said I think the trend's popularity can mostly be attributed to it being relatively easy to capitalize upon. Whether you're an artist, a cosplayer, a fanfic writer, or just a chud with a self-hosted AI model, you can ride the algorithmic wave to glory

@G0ffThew I think one thing it could've added, had it been a part of the original story, is an outlet for young boys who literally grew up reading the books to understand the evolving feelings of and for girls they once saw as being "icky and mean"

@kizuriley Yep. Give a few years and see how people feel when we're dealing with (not wishing to spoil it) everything that happens at the end.

@shinobi602 Uh huh. So how long do y'all think it's gonna take until GTA 6 gets jailbroken, ported to PC for free, and we have N64 Mario snorting coke off a Minecraft creeper's ass?

Hiya @AggrendWoW could you please comment on the availability of an RP-PVP category in Forever? Seems strange there hasn't been any comments made yet given how loud the RP-PVP community has been, and how successful the RP-PVP servers were in Classic. Throw us a bone please!

You'd have to change a LOT about the dynamics that precipitated the Wizarding War, and it could lead to some... uncomfortable subject matter depending on how serious you take it. Could be fun though.

Oh right, Voldemort. You make him be the only other wizard in recent history, and that it turned out just as terribly as it did in the canon universe. This way you can write some of the other characters having a pretty good reason to be mistrustful and nervous about Harry.

Aight, here's the AU concept: Hogwarts School of Witchcraft. No wizardry because 99% of men can't do magic in this world... Except for the Boy Who Lived. You genderbend everyone but Harry (and Voldemort) and set it in modern times so that the "-foid" part of Malfoid makes sense.
