In the '30s, the Nazis launched a propaganda campaign in America to shift public opinion on the war in Europe. Today, Russia is using these same tactics to influence U.S. support for Ukraine. I asked Secretary Austin if he sees this campaign as a threat to American interests.
@SenAngusKing In 1923, Nazi Party Chm. "Hitler" failed at violently overthrowing his Bavarian govt. While serving 9 mo.'s prison, he realized that he'd gain power by winning elections. To create an appealing persona, Hitler assembled a propaganda team & used mass media, as did Traitor Trump !!
@SenAngusKing Which senators and congressional members are being paid by Russia? Do we know? If not why not?
@SenAngusKing If Senator King keeps up with the continued foreign aid to Ukraine, he will lose my support.
@SenAngusKing If the media are in the actors guild, then why aren’t politicians?
@SenAngusKing You clowns have moved beyond parody. 😂
@SenAngusKing How about you actually give examples of those so-called tactics? Didn't think so! Our government is the people who constantly use fear tactics. Fact!
@SenAngusKing No one has given a compelling reason to support Ukraine. “Putin wants to take over all of Europe” but somehow Ukraine can stop them with cash. If anyone believed Russia wanted Europe, then Europe would be on the ground fighting. Russia can’t be weak and also existential threat
@SenAngusKing In the 1790s the first President of the United States made a proclamation that Americans should remember and respect, the way to maintain our republic is by avoiding foreign entanglements.
